Phantoms Bulletin 3 - from the Prez

Club Rooms Update

Dear Phantoms

Clubrooms and Oval Update

The building of the new clubrooms is expected to start next week. Blubuilt have been successful in securing the contact.

They will start with the drainage of the whole area commencing on the Eastern side.

The futures committee and selected club individuals will undertake the task of identifying the assets of the club which we will keep (store), sell or dump.  They will be using a coloured dot system so please do not remove and dots you see around the club.

Juniors will still be training at the club this Friday 27th July and the seniors will be having presentations at the club on Saturday evening.

We will advise further as to where we will be after this week end. Seniors will continue to train at the oval and Thursday nights will have special BBQ and drinks in and around the change rooms.

The builders have a history of completing projects within agreed times. They anticipate the new clubrooms will be completed by April 15th 2019.

We will be working with the council to continue to complete the whole upgrade of Camden site.

Further communication to follow.

Thanks

Michael Hamilton

SUPERSEDED

The new light poles are all wired and ready to go the 4 extra liamps have been installed the oval coverage is fantastic. The cables and infrastucture is designed for 10 lamps per pole. We have reached our maximun on the current power supply. More lights to be added when the new clubrooms are built.

Special thanks to the futures committee and in particular Greg Buss from Buss & Grigg who managed the project. Gerard Toohey from GT Electrical for QA & P& R Electrical for suppling the cable/lighting/switchboards. Much appreciated.

Let there be Light!

Anzac Day

25/04/15

The new light poles are 20M high (as stipulated by WT council) and are designed to hold 10 lamps. The current power supply will only allow for 3-4 lamps per pole. We envisage when the new clubrooms are built a new power supply will allow for more lamps and the possibility of senior night games. However hopefully we will see a few junior night games in 2015.

The new light poles are up.

The Futures Committee have secured funds to purchase 4 more lamps. Once lamps have arrived light-up should occur very soon.

Approx early December
